The design of the missile system is a long time, high cost and risky work, and it is hard to be validated. Because of the existence of these problems, thetechnology of simulation must be adopted during the process of the design andexperimentation. The systems and components must be simulated sufficiently. Most existing simulators have a lot of problems such as bad schematism, badagility, bad dynamic and incompatible interface. As the background of theseexisting problems, a universal semi-physical simulator for digital missile isdesigned in this subject. A dynamic simulation environment is set up on theground environment. The simulator provides a universal simulation environmentfor the design of missile system.According to the requirement to the design of the missile system, this thesisdesigned the simulation system. On the facet of the design of hardware, 1553Bbus, RS422 bus and ARINC429 bus are simulated based on industrial computerand interface cards of PCI bus. Modules of instruments are used to simulate theanalog and digital signals based on the technology of virtual instruments. On thefacet of the design of software, the universal configuration of"editing softwareand controlling software"is put forward. The information of the device isdistilled from the software codes. The information is saved as files. So theediting process and controlling process of simulation are separated. So the agilityand the general utility of the simulation software is widely improved. Thefunctional parts of missile system are abstracted and class cfactors are designedrecur to the technich of object-oriented. The function, the static modules and thedynamic modules are analysed recur to the the technich of the Unified ModelingLanguage. The results of testing in laboratory demonstrates that this simulator isreliable and universal and expansibility. What's more, both of the functions andthe performances developed by this thesis meet the desin requirements.
