Based on the COSCO Group research project "Training simulator of M/E digital governor",this paper focus on the Nabtesco main engine remote control system and governing system.With the training simulator a semi-physical simulation was conducted for the complex MG-800â…¢digital governing system with advantages of full- functional,simple,realistic effect and high precision.The system,combining computer,S7-200PLC,VVVF motor,servo motor and centrifugal water pump,can effect the semi-physical simulation of ship digital governor,realize the composite PID control algorithm of main engine governor with main engine as controlled object,rotation speed control of main engine as outer ring and adjustment of fuel throttle position as inner ring.The system has,in correspondence with the governing process,functions of differential priority,variable-speed integral,step-by-step given,variable dead-zone. anti-saturation,filtering,repetitive control compensation of fuel throttle displacement and non-linear adjustment of control parameters variable with the deviation and thus to improve the control accuracy of governing system and inhibit the disturbance.This system uses SQL Server 2000 to store the entire parameters list of digital governor,M/E remote control system and safety system.The programme running the digital governor simulation system includes the digital governor simulation system mathematical model,large output diesel M/E mathematical model,operation interface of bridge / engine control room and of the digital governor simulation system.The marine M/E digital governor simulation system includes the M/E remote control system manoeuvring system,M/E speed regulating system,operation interface of bridge / engine control room / machine side.The illustrated manuals of control functions,parameter setting and monitoring panel are provided to help marine engineers to familiarize themselves with the adjustment of various parameters of MG-800 Governor system in the simulation environment and to obtain relevant experiences of operation and maintenance of a governor system. This system,with such features as user-friendly operation interface,realistic figures,and intuitive simulation effect,has been applied to advanced marine engineering training satisfactorily,with the on-board training effect being achieved.
