A Preliminary Study On Colourscape Design Of The Urban Public Green Space

The significance of color in human life is self-evident. Our impression on an environment get competed through vision, as the first element of vision, color has been neglected for a long time by architect. With improvement of our environment, we have higher requirement on quantity of urban public green space. Color landscape, as an indispensable factor in urban public green space, should be emphasized, that is starting point of our research.This paper adopts inductive method and summary in thesis which cite many picture explain the point of view to research color landscape in urban public green space. Through four points as following: color of classical landscape architecture, basic theory of color science, new theory of modern color design and urban public green space design, I try to expound the effect of color landscape on urban public green space. At last get conclusion on the basis of analysis on several cases from domestic and overseas, I hope to provide some beneficial reference for practice.
