Study On Urban District Planning Formulation Of China In New Period

China is in the period of economic system transition and rapid development of urbanization at present, with the immense changes of domestic and international economic environment, the traditional urban planning model which was established in the planned economic period has been unable to adapt to the fast development of modern cities. Cities, as the main body of economic and social development, needs more effective planning model for its development. Urban district planning, introduced to China in the 1980s, though some practice studies have been carried out, has a rather ambiguous position in the traditional binary planning system in which the traditional core are urban master planning and detailed planning. That leads to the poor centralization of the theoretical research and technology explore and the lack of unified understanding.According to the relevant theory of urban planning, combined with the actual technical characteristics of the existing urban district planning, this paper will systematically study the existing problems, formulation requirements, planning contents and making process of urban district planning in the new period. The research is composed of four main parts:Part 1: The theoretical foundation of urban district planning research. On the basis of the clarity of the concepts about urban district planning, discussing the relevant theory of urban district planning and introducing the research progress of domestic and abroad research.Part II: The existing problems and formulation requirements of urban district planning in new period. The new context of the socio-economic development requires the urban district planning technology system to make corresponding adjustments, this part starting with the existing major problems of current urban district planning, summed up the requirements of urban district planning formulation in the new period.Part III: The new period urban district planning techniques to explore. On the basis of last stage's study, this chapter explores the technology system of urban district planning in the new era. Specifically studies the framework for the planning contents, control system and making process of the new urban district planning.Part IV: Kuancheng district's empirical research. Take Kuancheng district of Changchun for example, to give an empirical research of the planning contents, control system and working process of the new urban district planning.
