Research On Planning And Design Of New Urban District In Guangdong Province

The Chinese Reform Policy promotes rapid economy growth, society progress and peoples' living standard in China, furthermore it hastens Chinese cities' civilization and modernization. The advanced economy area in the Pearl River Delta which situated in the northwest coast of China has geographic and political advantages and this area is proceeding rapid city's civilization course. The cities' civilization course of this area appears to be unusual, high basis and high speed. Based on the outward economy, it takes developing towns as means and expands to the smallest space of cities and towns-villages. In the this course, constructions of new urban district affect town spaces, land intensive use, good villages and towns living environment and sustainable development.The innovative point of this article is to apply the urban design theories from the view of city itself to analyze and instruct the design and planning as well as make such design as an organic ingredient of city.The emphasis of this paper is placed on the research for the producing, the development and the planning and constructing methods in the new urban district. Unit 2 analyzes the urbanizing procedure and feature in the Pearl River Delta, and the urbanizing target in town-villages as well. Base on the system research, Unit 3 debates respectively the meaning, the procedure and the space spread of the new town-villages district, in order that we can have a comprehensive master and conclude useful experiences o Unit 4 is tried to discuss what kind of principles that we should be obeyed under the market economic mode.At last, sampling the case of district of the Pearl River Delta, some operable methods are searched aider instructed by history experiences and practical principles. The methods of open space design and the scale, size of hotel, building and people plaza are also discussed to expect providing theoretic foundation and practically operable direction, these make the exploitation and construction of new urban district in favor of creating more integral city space. These can be the basis of further research while new urban district prevail in the whole Guangdong province in time of further economic progress.
