Wetland is one kind of widely distributed ecosystems on the earth. The complexity of the ecosystems'structure and the diversification of their functions protect the species gene and supply the useful resources. In this paper, Qin Lake National Wetland Park is taken as a research object, GIS model of storing data is designed, tourist messages and wetland ecological information was published on Internet in order to achieve a "win-win" for wetland protection and the healthy development of eco-tourism. So it is useful for tourists to have access to the information of their travel and the wetland itself is benefited on the monitoring, research and the protection by sharing information in a wide range as well.In this paper, the basic theory of WebGIS and storage solutions of spatial data were introduced, map services were established and managed by SuperMap IS, Ajax, ASP.net and javascript were aslo chosen to develop the website of wetland. Systems using space-based SuperMap SDX + engine technology SDB (SuperMap Objects Spatial Database) engine storage data, attribute data was stored in the SQL Server database through ADO.NET 2.0 for data access. Based on map services, including the GIS function of operating the maps, querying spatial information, bus stations, bus lines, carrying on interactive communication of tourists and mangers of wetland, also we may talk about certain spatial analyses integrated in this system. In this paper, the space-time changes of land use and covering were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively in terms of air photo data during 1995 and 2006 based on GIS and RS techniques. The landscape pattern index of Qin Lake wetland, the landscape pattern analysis charts and the thematic maps of ecological landscape types were publishing and printing using WebGIS technologies, providing Wetland Park managment staff an effective decision-making support, and exploring the wetland park management of the new digital channels.
