Enlarged base Twin—tower Structures a structure system of tall buildings, which is formed by an Enlarged base and two towers standing alone. Since the existence of the Enlarged base, the force of whole structure is different from single tower structure. At present, the research on the performance under the static loads is not in-depth. The paper makes a more systemic deep and full research on the enlarged base twin—tower structures based on the example of engineering, which applies the software—SATWE and EPSA of PKPM. At the same time the international well-known finite element analysis software ANSYS is applied to develop the Stress and strain Features of different forms of the beams. The research consists of several parts which are listed below.First, the analysis of the structure whose conversion layer is changed shows that the position of conversion layer is higher, the seismic response of the mutation is more obvious. When we have to use high conversion, the control of the shear stiffness ratio is necessary, the upper deformation characteristics and stiffness must close to the layers which below the conversion layer. So that the change in the vicinity of the angle of displacement mutation can be avoided.Second, the structure analysis software PKPM is used to these four models, and get the ability—deform curve. So that the result of the first stage can be tested. Third, The Author analysis and compare SRC beam and SRC Conversion beam with the use of finite element analysis software—ANSYS. Based on the results it can be find that the stress,strain and displacement of SRC Conversion beam is different from the ordinary SRC beam. the flexural capacity and the shear stiffness of the bearing capacity of SRC Conversion beam is better than reinforced concrete beams. The SRC Conversion beam and the shear wall work together which make the condition of strain is complex. so that we should take more attention to this kind of beam, when we design, we mast consider all the situations above.In the end, I conclude the research and arrive some conclusion.
