With the rapid development of electronic facilities as well as energy and environmental concerns, people have high demands on batteries.Li-ion batteries are widely used for their favorable advantages of high voltage, big specific capacity, long cycling life and less pollution. Transition metal oxides with high inserted potential are usually used as cathode material of Li-ion batteries. At present layered compounds of LiCoO2,LiNiO2 and spinel LiMn2O4 have been extensively studied. As the first polymer which was synthesized by human,Prussian blue has been studied in many scopes from 1704 when it was discovered. The studied object was from Prussian blue to its derivates. They could be used as coloring matter and coloring display matter, even sorbent in nuclear power station, modified electrode material, electrochromic displays, electrocatalysis and battery material, etc.Prussian blue and its derivates have many excellent characteristics such as electrochemistry reversibility, high stability, low cost and easy synthesis. Therefore Prussian blue and its derivates have good future in modified electrode and electrochromic displays. In this work,Prussian blue Li-Fe derivates were studied as a new type of electrode material for lithium secondary battery.A new Prussian blue derivates LiFe[Fe(CN)6]·aq was synthesized, and characterized with XRD,IR,TG-DTA and conductance ratio.Based on this, different simulated battery was assembled and their abilities of charge-discharge was tasted. The results show that the simulated battery with LiFe[Fe(CN)6]had basic good curves. The curves showed Li+ embed and emerge easily in LiFe[Fe(CN)6].And in cycle of charge and discharge the frame of LiFe[Fe(CN)6]was basically stabled. Therefore Prussian blue Li-Fe derivates had a very wide applied foreground.
