With power electronic technology has been developing to high frequency and high integration, switching power supply became a hotspot in the field of power electronics. The new types of PWM controller are the most important. There are two circle controlling systems in PWM controller. To compared with voltage mode PWM controller, current mode controlling mode improve the system of line regulation and load regulation, heighten the transient responding velocity and strength the system stability. These advantages make the current mode PWM controller used more widely.The current mode PWM controller has been analyzed and designed in details in this thesis. First, the thesis analyzed the operational principle of current mode PWM controller, designed the whole block diagram according to the features.Every subcircuit is designed reasonably according to the principle and character of PWM switching converter, such as: bandgap, error amplifier (EA), oscillator, PWM comparator, PWM modulator, output stage. It is analyzed in detail that how to realize every subcircuits'functions according to different needs.
