Design And Improvement On Relay Protection Management Information System

Relay protection plays an important part in ensuring power system's running safe and stable, which has a big responsibility and is highly technical and complicated. The development and application of relay protection MIS makes relay protection management more standardized and more scientific. However, the existing relay protection MIS can't effectively supervise and manage the work flow. Therefore, automatic and efficient operations between sectors can not be achieved.According to the present situation of Inner Mongolia 500KV EHV Power relay protection management, this paper developed a web-based practical relay protection MIS on platform of combining JSP and Oracle database technique. This system has functions of managing affairs, configuration, operations, statistical analysis of incidents, safety, settings and other aspects of relay protection management. On basis of this MIS, the paper proposed a model based on workflow technique by introducing an engine of jBPM, then applied it to analyzing structure of the system and the settings flow. Finally, on basis of processing lots of relay protection drawings, the paper presents a raster scanning vectorization method.
