Electromagnetically acoustic emission technique (EMAE) can be used for damage assessment of conducting material. This technique can effectively test elastic wave which has been developed in conducting material such as crack propagation, fiber breakage, elastic wave from other damage and finished the forecast of bug or fault which maybe happen. Elastic wave which has been released by acoustic emission source can carry a lot of structure or information of material bug in the transmission. We can receive and analyze these acoustic emission signal, then identify and orientation structure or material bug, so as to reach the purpose of examination and diagnoses. For the characteristic of acoustic emission signal, this thesis used the experiment pencil broken to produce signal and used the signal of electromagnetically acoustic emission to simulate, analyze signal. Then the paper used wavelet transform to decompose and reconstruct signal and used approach of signal noise separation and source location. This paper also compared the signal of electromagnetically excitation and studied the differences between conducting material with crack and conducting material without crack. In additional, this paper did simple orientation. Finally, this thesis did further research on the location formula of acoustic emission and put forward some improvement.
