| From both theoretical and experimental research, the damage effect and propagation law of blast wave for small thermo-baric warhead explosives in air are discussed in this paper. One dimension shock wave propagation code is finished based on C.L.Mader's blast wave theory. The laws of wave propagation in air were studied from the code. Using the LS-DYNA software, the shock wave propagation in confined and open space is simulated. Because of the reflection of pressure waves from solid wall, and the interaction between reflection waves, the computational results show that the waves system is complex during shock wave traveling, including diffraction,corner-turning effect and mach reflection of wave propagation. The comparison between confined and open space explosion show that the wave superposition cause the greater thermo-baric warhead damage effect in confined space. The test results verified the effectiveness of LS-DYNA simulation.By theoretical analyzing the relations between the TNT equivalent and burst height and measure point on the results of overpressure measurements, TNT equivalent results are given which verified the importance of burst height and measure point. |
