Along with the fast development of vehicle technology,the electronical degree of vehicle is more and more high. The traditional wring method is far from the requirement. After micro-controller and bus technology enters into the vehicle field, it takes epoch-making changes for vehicle industry; it is extremely important to make use of bus technology to reduce in-vehicle wire, decline cost and make the vehicle control more humanized and intelligent.The dissertation is based on inside and outside material collection and investigation. it summarises the vehicle electronics' history,the present situation and development trends. The advantages and characters of CAN are discussed in detail. Data Link Layer and Physical Layer in hierarchy structure of CAN Bus is described.It do detailed research on the message, frame format,principle and characteristics of CAN bus.A reasonable type vehicle body control scheme based CAN bus were brought forward in this paper. The theories and applications of the components used in the scheme(the AT89C51micro-controller inMCS-51 serial,CAN controller SJA1000 and transceiver PCA82C250 )were analyzed in detail.Following, the paper analyses and discusses the issues of hardware and soft ware design in the vehicle body control system. The hardware and soft were exploited by means of universal modularized method. In order to improve the stability and reliability of the electronic control system under severe electromagnetic interference environments, electromagnetic interference proofing and restrain measurements that should be applied in the design of hardware and software.This paper analyzed the factor that result in normal work disturbed and circuits destroyed and put forward the anti-interference measurements correspondly.Finally, the CAN-Bus based vehicle body control system has been developed successfully on RuiFeng commercial vehicle. A vehicle body equipments control with intelligence and network is achieved.
