| This study is derived from the research, which is selected as one of the National Natural Science Fund Projects with its entitled number 50578160, of the theoretical system and decision-supporting technology of the green railway alignment selection.Centered on the policy of "Green Line Selection" first put forward in the "10th Five-Year Plan" for the railway environment protections, taking the solution of the environmental impacts during the rail line selecting process as the most essential study purpose, this research was pursued by exploring the way of applying the geographic information technology and the decision-supporting technology to the design and selection of the green railway alignment. The method of knowledge acquisition and representation, the foundation of knowledge base and rule base and the knowledge management system, all of which are technologically necessary and important in the process of green railway alignment selection, are mainly discussed in this paper. The detailed discussions and explanations can be stated from several aspects as follows:Firstly, in this study, the approach to the acquisition of knowledge about the green railway alignment selection was achieved. Then, in order to find a way of extracting certain part of the knowledge acquired in such a way, they gave a further analysis to the characteristics of the knowledge and classified the knowledge into several categories according to the specific content of the knowledge. A database is established so that every type of knowledge of the Green Railway Alignment Selection Decision-Supporting System (GRASDSS) can be deposited into the database as well as be withdrawn and referred to at any time.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the knowledge about the green railway alignment selection, three types of knowledge representation methods were adopted, there were Production Representation, Frame Representation and Frame-Production Representation, which are applicable to the GRASDSS, to make the representation of relevant knowledge a possibility.Thirdly, taking the characteristics, the types of the knowledge of green rail line selection and the mixed knowledge representation method adopted in the study into a comprehensive account, the structure of the knowledge base was worked out by using an object-oriented method for designing. And through mapping the object-oriented set of relevant data into the database, the physical storage of the knowledge was enabled and the integrated knowledge base was set up. Meanwhile, a rule base of the knowledge is established and connected with the model base by forward inferring, and the appropriate knowledge about the green railway alignment selection is screened out by the inferring work of the Object Inference Engine, the Rule Inference Engine and the Method Inference Engine.Fourthly, the method of object-oriented programming was used to develop the management system of the knowledge database. The management system has a great power of function, which can be displayed as knowledge acquiring, knowledge deleting, knowledge checking, knowledge updating, knowledge database accessing and the preliminary knowledge outputting.At the end of the study, the forecasting & assessing system of the GRASDSS based on GIS for the environmental impacts was presented, so as to make the managers obtain the accurate information to make relevant decision. Furthermore, the study also achieves a visualized decision-making process through some effective measures. Generally, the GRASDSS can be a valuable reference for the follow-up software development. Take the rebuilding railway of XuanCheng to HangZhou as example, it has provided the powerful support for the domain expert, the policy-maker carried on the predict that the knowledge inquiry as well as the analysis. |
