Latticed shells structure is adopted widely in the large span structure for the following advantages: its light in weight; great span of building structure and rational load-bearing, etc. But it has high material utilization ratio and small section of component. Furthermore,total trend in development of latticed domes is that the span of latticed dome becomes more and more large, as well as the material used becomes more and more economic with the development of building materials, computer technique and structural theory. So the stability behavior is the most important respect of the design of the latticed shell (especial for single-layer spherical lattice shell).The stability of the latticed shell can be analyzed by load-displacement post buckling curve. Structure's load-displacement curve can display the whole stages of the strength stiffness and stability clearly. We can research other factors (such as initial shortage and load apply) having the influence on actual latticed shell's stability through the load-displacement curve. Only by the load-displacement nonlinear analysis during the whole process of the structure, the stability capability of latticed shell can be estimated correctly. Therefore, based on the nonlinear whole process analysis of structure, the paper studies on the stability capability of the single-layer schwedler latticed shell deeply.Based on analysis software ANSYS, the nonlinear whole process analysis of stability behavior of schwedler latticed shell with different span and different ratio of rise to span are carried out. The effect of the unsymmetrical load and initial imperfection behavior of latticed domes with various parameters changes is also analyzed. Through the deduction and analysis of these obtained curves of whole course, the empirical formula of load capacity of schwedler latticed shell is obtained through fitting in the end. The work of the paper have some meaning to the stability behavior and the design of schwedler latticed shell.
