The Study Of Timing And Sensors Signal Control At Urban Road Crossing

Intersection is the pivotal node of city roadway-meshwork. The use of signal control in intersections has great effect to ensure the efficiency of the city traffic system. The thesis contact actual traffic condition, use microcosmic traffic simulation system-VISSIM to simulate the moving condition of intersections in different signal control methods, contrast the efficiency of different control methods and has great academic and actual senses to improve the efficiency of our city intersections.The thesis first introduces the development and study conditions of signal control; in succession expounds the control parameters,the estimate parameters and the aim of signal control; then contacting theories, introduces how to count the control parameters in detail; then contrasts the efficiency of different control methods based on traffic simulation system-VISSIM and prove the need of telepathy signal control; at the end contacting actual traffic condition, summarize and expects the control ofour city intersections.
