With the increase of vehicle ownership and trips, the urban congestion problem is increasingly serious in our country. Public transport as a high efficient transport, the transportation is an important way to solve the problem of urban traffic congestion, the priority to the development of urban public transportation can improve the bus service,improving the public transport system could be attractive and meet a lot of travel demand.In urban traffic signal control, to ensure a smooth road, often using arterial coordination control, by adopting the method of green, green lights ahead of the implementation of bus priority may interrupt the main coordination of traffic flow.Therefore, how to try not to destroy original green wave band, keep the condition of bus priority fusion to arterial coordination control has important practical significance. This article has been firstly clear about the main coordinate relationship between control and bus priority, adopts double control method; Combination with the practical running of bus lines, keeping per delay minimum to intersection as objective function, to coordinate the phase green wave with lower limit as constraint conditions, establish the bus priority control method process and timing parameter optimization model, realize the main bus signal priority control; At last, VISSIM was used to analyze the benefits of control algorithm.Based on the bus route operation, seting up the bus level weight and turn weight,the optimization of bus priority method is proposed. In green light extension module,the sum of two cycle time constant to each cycle can have the same degree of bus priority, and sustainable, provide more buses through ability when more public transport vehicles in the main line; In the green light in advance and module, coordinated phase can provide green light time into consideration, increase the maximum green lights ahead of time, so as to improve the bus through ability. Using HCM2000 delay calculation method to calculate the delay each phase of the society vehicle, and took the vehicle delay and per people delay as an index, had carried on the simulation to the Jing Ten east road, proved the feasibility of the scheme.
