At present, China is employing and promoting CTCS2 class train control system in reconstruct of the existing railways and construct of the new high speed passenger line. Because of passenger and freight cars mixed running in China, and the complexity of railway signaling device, the diversity of the line condition, the special transportation operation requirements of each exiting railway and high speed passenger line, it takes not only a large amount of money and manpower, but also a long time if we test the applicability of train control system and the rationality of railway signaling design on the field. Although we find problem during filed experiment, any changes of the design would result in rework or delay of project. Therefore, developing a set of train control simulation system that accord with the technology of CTCS2, and doing simulating experiment after the primary technical conditions are determined, finding problems as earlier as possible is very useful.This paper studied the technical specifications and functions of CTCS2 train control system, carried out the architecture design and functional requirements analysis of CTCS2 train control simulation system, designed and completed train carried equipment simulation system which is one subsystem. It describes the algorithm of distance to go model curve in detail, and verifies the feasibility of the algorithm. It establishes the single-particle model of trains, studies calculation of traction force, braking force, running resistance so that the simulation system can simulate a variety models of trainset. This subsystem realized main functions of the automatic train protection, include receiving and managing information from track side equipment, speed supervising, model switching. It also designed a driving manufacture interface according to specifications of DMI, and provided simulating test interface. Finally, we can do lines through capacity analysis, tracking interval assessment based on the data from the records during simulation experiment.
