With the development of national economy, the expressway developed rapidly recent years , which put forward higher quality requirement for it. But the increase of traffic volume bing tribulations to asphalt pavement. and it also put forward a higher requirement to asphalt pavement design. must be attention the asphalt mixture components design to be obtained excellent performance asphalt pavement.To solve above mentioned problem, this paper mainly research on three parts:Fistly ,have a stuy on the characteristics of aggregate packing components . With this starting point, I studied the asphalt mixture volume design, the results show that the density of coarse packing aggregate exist a peak value. the coarse aggregate skeleton structure relatively stable. and the passing rate have significant influence to the packing density of the fine aggregate.Seeondly this paper also study the crucial index as VMA which components aspalt mixture. The research obtained that the 4.75 mm passing percent and VIFA and the voids in loose coarse aggregate filling rate have influenced VMA significantly. And depends on this conclusion,we can design asphalt mixture according to these index to make the design results conforming to prescribed.Thirdly,on the references study and various volume design methoed analysis, the design of asphalt mixture was combined with the analysis of aggregate volume characteristics and mixture volume characteristics. with which expected to obtain a fine road performance asphalt mixture. The autor also discussed Inspection Method for Mineral Aggregate Grading in Mixture in this paper.
