The design adopts high-performance embedded ARM processor as a monitoring platform, with low-power wireless ZigBee module build a multi-purpose wireless home security systems.Firstly,this paper analysis needs of the family system, making the use of laboratory-produced S3C2410 boards achieve embedded hardware platform which was based on S3C2410 processor, taking into account the importance of the human-computer interaction and networking in the family system, the platform includes net Card, LCD, USB, and other peripheral equipment, then drawn schematic and PCB with protel dxp, after the welding, debugging,structures embedded development environment, including the establishment of cross-compiler environment, transplant bootloader, configuring linux core, root File system.Then complete the relevant applications of the hardware platform, in order to observe the various parts of the family information such as temperature, gas for user, applications include two parts, the first is LCD display, analysis the working principle of the LCD, program LCD drivers under the Linux, and application procedures; The second is video surveillance, complete video collection via the USB connected the camera based on OV511, compression the video data, the JPEG files can be saved on disk, transmit the video data through Socket Programming, and complete the display interface with VC + + 6.0 in the PC, so that users can monitoring and storage picture Remotely.Finally, the paper analysis the application of the ZigBee wireless module in the home networking, depiction the structure and function at all levels of the ZigBee protocol stack, complete a simple sensor information collection, and send information through the serial port Programming to monitoring platform.
