The railway distribution network, as a vital part of the railway power system, is responsible for railway signal system and station assistant system's power supplying, whose reliability directly relate to the safety of railway traffic. But the railway distribution network is liable to conk out by affection of environment outside for its specific structure features. When the fault occurs, if the fault can not be found out accurately and rapidly, the scope of fault will be expanded and the security of railway traffic will be influenced. Therefore, it is significant to find out the fault accurately and rapidly when the distribution line fault occurs.Aiming to the above problem, the dissertation proposes to construct a distribution network fault information integrated management and analysis system firstly, Which will achieve the goal of fault detection, location and type judgment, etc, by analyzing the fault information from railway distribution network SCADA.In the dissertation, the running features and basic structure of distribution network are introduced, and the fault features in each link of railway distribution network are analyzed, which lays a foundation for subsequent realization of fault diagnose Algorithm.The fault information sources which include SCADA, Microcomputer Protection integrated automation system, the monitoring system of the railway signal power supply, fault recorder device are studied, and the basic features of multiple-source fault information are analyzed. The application of multiple-source fault information can further guarantee the accuracy of fault diagnosis.The railway distribution network fault information integrated management and analysis system is constructed. The summary designs which comprise system principle, software structure, software data structure, function programming and design principle, etc are done. On the base of summary design, the software system is developed by using Visual C++.NET Object-Oriented Language. The software can be used in fault information integrated management, the distribution network fault analysis, fault type judgment, fault property judgment, fault section judgment and behavior analysis of protection and circuit breaker. The software, which running at SCADA dispatching system as advanced application software, can obtain and screen the effective data from SCADA communication net automatically and provide the report by the fault data analyzing.The emulational model ,which provides fault data for software testing, is established in PSCAD/EMTDC, and the testing result shows that the software can get effective analysis consequence at any condition, the fault analyze algorithm is effective and the software is feasibility.By now, the software communication test was done in a substation of GuangShen Line, the result shows that the software data transmission works effectively with good compatibility. The further software tests will be done in succession and it is promising to put the mature software into practical application.
