Fault location of Distribution Network is one of the important aspects of Distribution Automation. When fault of Distribution Network happens,Distribution Automation is able to locate fault according to real-time data of Distribution Net work. Safe operation of railway automatic blocking transmission lines provides safeguard for rail transport,production, picking up speed extensively and development of information technology,so it is obvious that research of fault detection for railway automatic blocking transmissions lines has important use value.This paper based on railway automatic blocking transmission lines studies scheme of fault detection.First,this paper analyses method of failure testing for Distribution Network.According to the practical project item of PuGuang Line of railway distribution,then,this paper anylyses all kinds of fault of railway automatic blocking transmission lines in theory,and gains characters when fault happens which provide theoretical basis for fault detection scheme of railway automatic blocking transmission lines.In order to examine the correctness of analysis in theory and understand the charaters of all kinds of fault furthermore,this paper establishes railway automatic blocking transmission lines simulation model with SimPowerSystems BlockSet in MATLAB/SIMULINK.This paper simulates all kinds of faults with this model.The simulating results show that it is identical to the analyzing results in theory.Second,this paper puts forward fault detection algorithm of main station with forenamed analysis in theory.This paper makes use of fault detection algorithm of main station and data of the practical situation of PuGuang Line of railway distribution to realize the algorithm and fault detection with VC++6.0.
