Research On The Planning Of Urban Agglomerations' Inter-city Rapid Transport System

Accompanied by the quickening of the urbanized process and integration of regional economy, the agglomeration trend of city's development becomes the irreversible trend, the urban agglomerations have already become the carrier of the international and domestic competition. The development of urban agglomerations needs rational transport system, which comes to bear the flow of goods of a large number of guests of inter-area. At present, the fast transportation way is being developed at full speed among the cities, the planning of the rapid transport system among the cities seems very urgent. This paper commits itself to the research of the rapid Inter-city transport system of Chinese Urban Agglomerations from a macroscopic view. It places more weight on working out the strategic planning of Inter-city rapid transport system development.First of all, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the structure of inter-city transport system on the basis of related theories of Urban Agglomerations, and then divides the level of inter-city rapid transport network.Secondly, it puts emphasis on the method of how to predict the urban outbound traffic demand in core cities. It establishes the mechanism model to predict the total passenger volume of urban outbound traffic from the mechanism of people's trip. On the basis of analyzing the law of the distribution of the urban outbound transport volume, it also establishes a modal to predict the distribution of the transport volume.Thirdly, it puts forward the purpose and concept of rapid inter-city transport system. It focuses on the planning of inter-city transport corridor, including the arrangement, system configuration and the functional localization of these roads. In order to show the application of this method, it sets an example of the Passenger Line between the city of Chengdu, Mianyang and Leshan, and makes a research of the planning of urban agglomerations comprehensive transportation terminal.At last, this paper uses the proposed theory and method to make the empirical analysis of the planning of the Chengdu_chongqing city agglomerations' inter-city rapid transport system, achieving its goal of combining theory with practice.
