Signification And Application Of Architecture Language By Linguistics Analogy

In accordance with the academic essence and evolutional trace of the old architectural language theories, the thesis expatiates the substantial relation between architecture and linguistics, and constructs the basic theoretical frame of architecture language. Through analyzing the interaction between architecture and linguistics when the two theories progress, the thesis discusses multiple possibilities of architectural language mode and its development tendency. In the end, the thesis points out how to properly evaluate and how to purify architectural language nowadays.The thesis attempts to construct the model, internal mechanism and expression of architecture language by methodology of analogy. Based on this, the dynamic role that architectural language has on architectural creation and evaluation will be grasped. It is very important to eliminate misunderstandings and correctly use architectural language during the process of creation. Through it's the medium function of architectural language, it can promote the development and exchange of different architectural cultures and genres. In addition, only when understanding the meaning of architectural language correctly, it will be used properly, and the architectural attainment of every architect, even the whole nation, will be improved.
