Design Of Urban Road Green Landspace In Tianjin

Road is the skeleton of the city, and occupies an important position in city. Therefore, the sight of urban green space plays an important role in the landscape of the city's image. Located in the northeast of North China, Tianjin is of four distinctive seasons with the climate between continental climate and oceanic climate. As the centre of Bohai region, Tianjin is the largest industrial port and the city of distinguished significance in history and culture. In 2006, the development project of Binhai Development Area was included into the overall national development strategies. And the State Council agreed to re-examine the overall urban planning of Tianjin, which means this city will definitely develop into aninternational metropolis. Therefore, upgrading the quality of the urban landscape, as well as improving the urban greening landscape design, is of extreme necessity. It is of great significance to summarize the achievements and analyze the problems in Tianjin's landscape design. This paper is divided into five parts.The first part illustrates the history and design theory of urban road landscape in the world. First, it introduces the landscape development of urban road. In the domestic development of urban road landscape, it initially appeared in the form of planting trees along. Later, the green space was gradually developed. In this part, it also provides a summary of design theory in the landscape of urban road.The second part discusses the definition of urban road landscape, its status and the role, including practical function, ecological function and landscape function.Part three summarizes the types and characteristics of the green landscape of urban road.Part four presents the background, process, basis and principles of green landscape design of urban road in Tianjin. First, the site of urban road is discussed. Following, it divides the green urban road construction into three phases and briefly describes the features and achievements of the construction stages. Then, it introduces the basis and principle of landscape design of urban road in Tianjin. The general design model of"point---line---area---circle"is proposed in the design principle.Part Five, it analyzes the actual examples of landscape design of urban road in Tianjin. First, it summarizes the plant types in the landscape of Tianjin, and then discusses the point green, line green, area green, and circle green with examples. Finally, it also gives a conclusion of the thesis. The specific conditions of the city's climate, history, culture and urban location should be taken into consideration in the landscape design of urban roads, in order to create a suitable system for the local road development and use. It is hoped that it will shed a light for the future design, based on the studies on Tianjin urban green landscape.
