This project is cooperated with KECHEQIAO company of Tianjin, and develops the inspection system of brake shaft, which has magnificent meaning to the reliable running of car and bus.This thesis introduces the method to acquire and display the image with CCD, and mainly relates the keystone of the instrument and the design of drives and interface. Besides, it points two character of the system, one is serving the problem of lacking light in the groovy of brake shaft with infrared illumination, the other is acquiring the whole frame of image with MSF at the case of low need of real time. Finally, the feasibility of this project is proved by the satisfactory result got from the inspection of the brake shaft.The main contents of this thesis are listed as following:1. The scheme selection of inner circle image acquisition has been discussed.2. The principle of linear CCD sensorμPD3575D has been introduced in detail and its driver circuit has been designed and implemented by using CPLD.3. An A/D acquisition card based on ISA bus has been designed.4. The hardware and software of an 8bit, A/D acquisition card with ISA bus have been established.5. An application software of this image acquisition system has been developed using Visual C++6.0.
