Research On The Motor Emission Measuring System For Light-duty Vehicles

Along with the fast development of the motor industry and the possession of cars, the environment polution comes into a serious problem. We take on the subject of"Research on the Motor Emission Measuring System"for the sake of protecting the environment, the promotion of the relevant laws and the healthy development of this industry. The system is made to exploit the product with independent intellectual property rights which provides powerful technical support to the motor emission measurment methods. It can be the foundation of the further application of the middle and heavy motors. The main content of the dissertation involves:1. A Constant Volume Sampling System (CVS) with Critical Flow Venturi (CFV) flow meter is developed based on the Bernouli fluid formula. Two CFVs are applied along the main channel and the sampling one in the system to assure the fixed ratio of the volume of the analyzed sample to the volume of total dilution.2. The full flow dilution sampling system is designed especially for the diesel engine. In the operation process, it should assure the continuous dilution of the emission without coagulation, the sliding scaling distillment of the diluted emission and the samples precipated on the filter paper. We will focus on the the flow controling system.3. Implement the hardware and software of the central control system based on OPTO22, the interface between the instrument and the PC, data transmission unit and the according communication software.4. Many testing steps are taken to assure the stability and reliability of the system. And the least squre method is used to analyze the linearity of the apparatus. The system of CVS is calibrated by Laminar Flow Elements (LFE), the whole system calibrated by Critical Flow Orifice (CFO) meter.
