The concrete faced rockfill dam (CFRD) is being used widely nowadays for its many strong point. The correctness and reliability of numerical calculate mainly depend on whether or not choose appropriate numerical model and veracious mechanics parameter. The results calculated with nonlinear FEM are fairly different from the actual measured mechanics behaviors because of the complex mechanics characteristics of rockfill materials. By using observation date back analysis rockfill parameters to acquire the actual parameter of the working CFRD, And using numerical calculation method on simulation and analysis of dam deformation and stress during construction and impoundment not only have important academic sense but also the great useful value in project.In this thesis, describe the research results and basic principle and method about feedback analysis of CFRD in existence comprehensively. Feedback analysis of CFRD includes the process of the rockfill material parameters sensitivity analysis, choose material parameters with high sensitivity. Get reasonable material parameters by making objective function minimum. This thesis including material parameters sensitivity analysis material parameters back analysis and feedback analysis with this process.Choosing appropriate constitutive model, simulating especial boundary are all key point of set up finite element model. Introduce constitutive model at present. On the basis of analyzing the different model of dam, choosing Duncan E—B model for the FEM analysis, choosing Goodman element for simulating the contact between the face plate and the rockfill material and choosing the flexible element for simulating the peripheral joints and vertical joints of the concrete face. Calculate Sinanjiang Rock Fill Dam with above mentioned method.
