At present, the elastic foundation of armoured concrete is widely used in many constructions, such as the slideway of dockyard, the bottomboard of floodgate, and many types of industrial and civil construction. The study of the elastic foundation beam also has been done for more than one hundred years, but the task still have a lot of work to do with the development of the model of foundation and the method of calculation.In this paper, the semi-infinite elastic beam method is adopted with the calculation method of the union of the finite element method and the boundary element method to analyze and calculate the elastic foundation beam. The beam is analyzed with FEM, and it is can be equalize for a number of elements joined with each other. Use BEM to anylze the semi-infinite elastic ground, and then form the matrix equation. The reaction of soil is expressed as function of elastic line, and the reaction of soil is described as function of beam element node's displacement, as a distribution load on beam element. With the fundamenta solution of beam in structural machanics, the relationship between node's forces of soil reaction and node's displacement is developed in terms of matrix form. With the combination the three matrix equation, the displacement of nodes can be ditermined out, so the forces of the beam can be solved at last.The influence of neighbor load for the beam is also analzed in this paper.
