Study of foundation and foundation footing were emphasized increasingly by many researchers because they play very important role in airport, wharf, high-rise building and freeway construction. Winkler Foundation Model was used to analysis blend of plates in the research of elastic foundation and plates in the past, but this model had big difference in practice. In operation, analysis method was calculated difficultly although theory of elastic half-space foundation was complete. In the thesis, system reaction of elastic half-space foundation and thin plate interaction in operation condition was studied and numeral calculating method was used in elastic half-space foundation research. This thesis researched static response of coupled systems of elastic half-space foundation and thin plate under concentrated loads and uniform loads by principle of the finite element and the infinite elements method, which were referred to theory of elastic half-space foundation and thin plate, meanwhile revealed static response of coupled systems of foundation and plate, static and dynamic property of elastic foundation under different loading by computation program of finite element and infinite model integrating with MATLAB, which was binding with semi-infinite and linearity of foundation soil. Coupled analysis of finite element and infinite model can reduce calculate number efficiently and was prior to finite element model in aspects of calculation precision and efficiency. This thesis not only added theory of elastic foundation but played an important guiding role in engineering practice, such as designing and construction of freeway faceplate, airport apron, cargo hold of wharf and plated foundation.
