In recent years, Double-Skin Facade is wildly used in cold region, but there is a phenomenon that focuses on the ornamental characteristic by ignoring its physical peculiarity and holistic function, so that it will result in a huge wasting in energy and social resource and further in healthy development of glass curtain wall.The thesis investigates the Double-Skin Facade which in energy-saving standard building in cold region in Tianjin, and studies on the thermal performance of Double-Skin Facade in north cold region. According to combine with experiment and calculation, it gets the heat transfer coefficient of Double-Skin Facade and the effect of heat preservation in winter, and analyses the utilize of sun radiant heat in winter and effect of natural ventilation in transitional reason.The extensive utilize of Double-Skin Facade could augment heat transfer coefficient of exterior protected construction, but it is easy to meet with request of energy-saving on the basic of climate region, utilize function of architecture, proper design and appropriate material architecture.After testing temperature in interlining of Double-Skin Facade and indoor, it indicates that Double-Skin Facade could heat up the airflow in passage by radiant heat to bring the action of temperature amortize layer, and reduce the difference in temperature between indoor and outdoor, so that it could bring down the heat lost in temperature transition and economize heating consumption. At the same time, the author simulates by Airpark that the difference in temperature between sun radiant heat outdoor and indoor act on apartment individually, and gets the conclusion that the sun radiant heat plays the leading role in increasing air temperature in the passage. Therefore, Double-Skin Facade has the advantage in bringing up the effect of heat preservation indoor by using sun radiant heat.Making use of simulation in transitional season, it gets the conclusion that the load derived from sun radiant heat has disadvantage, heat derived from indoor holds in advantage in the total load. Setting up exhaust outlet equipment could form effective natural ventilation in the apartment by using of Double-Skin Facade, as it could utilize furthest natural ventilation to keep comfortable environment. By adopting integral structure external wall, if the floor is too high, the ascend airflow would result in emerging inadequacy high temperature in the upside floor of architecture.
