As the largest component of building energy consumption,the heating energy consumption of town in north China is quite large,which accounting for about 45%of the total energy consumption of town in China.Single layer curtain wall is widely used in glass curtain wall buildings now,but the heat preservation performance of single layer glass curtain wall is very poor,use of single layer glass curtain wall in large area buildings can greatly increase the building cooling and heating load,at the same time,it will cause light pollution and other negative problems at last.So,Double-Skin facade with double layers of glass was born.On the winter and intermediate season working condition,in order to improve its heat preservation and heat insulation performance,this paper puts forwards two methods,as a result,two kinds of Double-Skin facades:baseboard heat collecting Double-Skin facade and three-side heat collecting Double-Skin facade has been brought out.Whereafter,evaluation standard for Double-Skin facade has been put forwards.At last,transient simulation and evaluate about the thermal performance of baseboard heat collecting Double-Skin facade and three-side heat collecting Double-Skin facade has been conducted.Because of the simple method by adding heat collection rolling not able to make a significant rise in indoor air temperature in intermediate season,author also puts forward one method that set opening mouth in the upper and lower end of the inner layer glass of Double-Skin facade,in order to make sure that heat within the curtain wall sandwich can enter indoor space favorably.Results show that greenhouse effect in curtain wall's sandwich caused the perfect heat preservation and heat insulation performance of both types of heat collecting Double-Skin facade.Under winter conditions,heat release of baseboard heat collecting Double-Skin facade room and three-side heat collecting Double-Skin facade room is lower than typical Double-Skin facade.Despite of their perfect heat preservation and heat insulation performance,the two kinds of heat collecting Double-Skin facade cannot offer enough heat to indoor space.Under intermediate season condition,indoor air temperature in three different kinds of Double-Skin facade rooms is generally low.For working condition of intermediate season,the method that set opening mouth in the upper and lower end of the inner layer glass of Double-Skin facade can raise thermal performance of Double-Skin facade significantly,but it needs reasonably control of the open mouths' opening and closing time.If the control undeserved,under the same conditions,the phenomenon that indoor air temperature of the improved heat collecting Double-Skin facade lower than the non-improved one will appears.
