Applications Of Recycling Economics In Planning Of Sustainable Communities

In recent years, the environmental problems have been globalized. China is a country with a huge population and comparatively insufficient natural resources, and the severe ecological environment situation has been deeply concerned nationwide. Building eco-communities is a primary part of ecological environment development. In this new transitional era of ecological civilization, especially in the background that the development strategy of Bin Hai New District has been upgraded to a part of the grand state strategy, it is significant to revisit the construction of eco-communities and to find out the key points for building recycling eco-communities.Firstly, this thesis gives the definitions of recycling economy and eco-community, analyzes their components and meaning, finds the characteristics of recycling eco-communities by reviewing the relations and interactions between recycling economy and eco-community, and summarizes the guidelines and methods for eco-community construction from a viewpoint of recycling economy.Secondly, based on the above characteristics and methods, with the help of the typical overseas cases from three countries, this thesis reviews the successful stories in five aspects and from two view angles, and analyzes the status and the problems in our eco-community construction. Then, the thesis proposes the directions to solve those critical problems.Finally, this thesis summarizes the methodology for eco-community construction, and proposes some specific professional measures and standards to build and to improve our eco-communities in order to solve those problems. For better implementation, the thesis also presents some administrative suggestions for constructing recycling eco-communities in the Chinese style.
