Study On Design And Innovation For Campus Environment Of Universities

The planning, designing and constructing of universities have been the focus of people for long. From 1990's the higher education of our country have begun developing rapidly. It is quite indispensable for us to revalue the developing course of campus environment.Edified by the theory of city planning, this paper put forward a theory of holistic design of campus environment. For emphasizing the importance of campus environment of universities, this paper analyses the campus culture and the humanism spirit of universities, regards the universities as the humanism flag of the time, bring up some valuable elements for holistic design of campus environment.This paper investigates the holistic pattern of campus in many universities all over the world. By discussing the principles and modern techniques of campus designing, this paper provides some theoretical essentials and practical techniques for the design of campus environment.
