| Genetic Algorithms (GA) are adaptive heuristic search algorithm premised on the evolutionary ideas of natural selection and genetic. As a new intelligent search method, it has drawn much attention and been used in many fileds. It is simple and universal for group search and its information exchange; and rubust for parallel process. It is applicable to complicated and non-linear problem and can be used in group optimization, computer study, adaptive control, programming design and artificial life. Especially in multiobjective programming problems, Genetic Algorithm has more advantage.Road building is one of the foundation for our economic development. So the quality of the road is a big problem for our country. Now, almost 90% mix material of road building is calculated by people. How to apply computer and intelligentized algorithm to this area is the biggest problem for us. It has already affected our road building and economic development. As a powerful and wide method, GA has been applied to many fields except road building. The material mix is one of the key points. The mix material can not only be of standard technology, but also of capability, operation, little variability, and practicality.The paper describes the new mix material calculating system which based on Genetic Algorithm; provides unified solution according to different road building; improves the coding manner, genetic operator and control parameter. Hence, the mix calculating system for the current road has been designed, and the calculating test has been made according to relevant information.The mix material based on AG reached the target and is more accurate and efficient than before. This whole system can be used in different areas, different climate conditions and road building in different classes. Also, we consider the price of mixture during the mix material calculating. It's the first system which achieves really multiobjective programming in the mix material of road building.
