For its merit of energy saving, environmental protection and good quality of heat supply, centralized heat-supply system has been widely used all over the world, becoming an important basic establishment in modern city. With the increasing size and utilization time of heat-supply network, its the failure rate also gradually increases. Thus, a study on its fault conditions and reliability has to be solved for its reliability directly influences the normal living and activity of people.Aiming at the reliability problem of ring-shaped heat-supply network, this article ascertains corresponding research contents as reliability of network, malfunction and accidents of heat-supply network, confirming on reliability index of probability and quota heating coefficient, simulation calculation of emergency hydraulic regime in quota heating, research on low load equivalent of ring-shaped heat-supply network and measures for the enhancement of reliability of ring-shaped heat-supply network.Based on theories of probability and reliability, it introduces the method of calculation of reliability index according to the characteristic of ring-shaped heat-supply network. Combining with calculation formula for each index, this paper analyzes the main parameters of probability index and quota heating coefficient detailedly. The main influential factors of probability index include failure flow parameter, operating time during heating period, number of the fault components and relative shortfall of heat-supply.The main influential factors of quota heating coefficient include regional factor, permissible minimum temperature of room, cooling time of room and heat storage coefficient of building.Comparing with Russian thermal net design criterion , it points out deficiency of quota heating in our thermal net design criterion that provides good tools to improve criterion for the future. Meanwhile, it simulates quota heating under several fault conditions and presents appropriate improving scheme.It introdues the method of low load equivalent as the simplification scheme of the ring-shaped heat-supply network calculation. The method will be useful for improving the operating effiency of the reliability calculation and hydraulic calculation. It provides several measures to enhancement the reliability of the ring-shaped heat-supply network.
