The heat quantity emitted from the panel surface is one of the most important parameters for the low-temperature hot water radiant floor heating system. There are a lot of researches on this parameter either in China or foreign countries. But the research on the complex heat transfer process of floor heating is not perfect, especially lack of data of Cu and PE-RT pipe. The factors which affect the low-temperature hot water radiant floor heat transfer process are analyzed in this article. Firstly, this article establishes a two-dimensional heat-transfer mathematical model of low-temperature hot water radiant floor heating system and introduces the complicated convection heat transfer and radial exchange into boundary conditions. The numerical calculation software—FLUENT is used to simulate the quantity of heat of different pipes under various surface structural layers and boundary conditions. It gets numerical solution of the temperature field and the heat-flow field by using the finite volume method. Then the results of simulation are arranged in calculation tables, and a data base is designed according to that. Based on the numerical solution, this article analyzes the relationship between the heat quantity of the panel surface and the factors which affect it. And the simulation solution is compared with emission of heat in Regulation and experiment solution respectively. Finally, a visual program is designed with VB in the article. The interfaces can be learned easily. This program can be used to achieve the selection of low-temperature hot water radiant floor heating plans based on the data base. As long as the emission of heat required in unit panel is provided, and determining whether the other conditions are restrained according to the actual condition, this program can give six corresponding parameter combinations of heating plan. Especially it can provide the determination of pipe spacing when other parameters are known. It provides lots of convenience for the designing and operating of the low-temperature hot water radiant floor heating system.
