Recently, energy saving and comfortable feeling of low temperature hot-water radiant floor heating system have been prevalently recognized by all people. With the development of this technology, there came forth many heating pipes which need research on their thermic capability. In this article, we do an experiment and fully research the heat transfer of radiant floor heating system for the first time.Firstly, In the experiment of this article, PE-RT, PE-X, PP-R and Cu pipe are used as heating pipes. We get the relationship between heat flow of unit area floor and the temperature of water supply while using different pipes through the experiment. And there is also a contrast of heat emission between different pipes. Then we further explain and analyze the difference from heat transfer point of view. We also research the influence of velocity of flow to the heat emission of floor, and the theory of boundary layer is used to analyze the influence. Difference of heat emission among cement, ceramic tile and wooden surface is analyzed through changing surface layer in the experiment, and simultaneously we know the heat loss under three different surface layers.Secondly, we use PE-RT and Cu pipes as heating pipes in radiant floor heating system in two rooms which are the same in orientation and structure. Indoor temperature, panel surface temperature and heat flux are tested while outdoor condition changes. And results of the two rooms are compared in order to confirm the reliability of the experiment in the laboratory.Furthermore, we have researched a thermal condition under prefabricate slab structure. We get the relation formulas of heat and cold quantity of the prefabricate slab with water supply temperature, which can be basis for actual design and application.Through the complete and systematic experiment, some conclusions can be used directly or indirectly in actual project.
