| Museum construction is the carrier of spiritual civilization and material civilization of mankind, with the unique "physical" language, to interpret the historical facts of human civilization and the natural evolution of the phenomenon, and becomes indispensable in today's social and cultural construction of public types. It is not only the important indicator of the civilization degree and the national or regional art development level, but also reflects the overall strength in a large extent.Constructions in the 21st Century are facing with the plight of natural resources and environment. The times request ecological constructions which are beautiful and practical, efficient and energy saving, safe and economy, and meet the requirements for the sustainable development. But the eco-architecture is currently caught trapped in dull, one-sided approach and the outmoded mind. With the rapid development of industrialization, human civilization has alienation, undermines their own living environment in return, and makes their own creation caught trapped in the rigid machinery products, shackled creativity, which is why more and more attention are paid to bionic construction.The first part (chapter II) of this paper recalls the historical evolution of modern museum. There are five parts in this paper with three levels. The second part (chapterⅢ,Ⅳ) specifically introduced the definition and classification functions of bionic museum, as well as the basic principles in bionic museum designing. Chapter IV highlights the basic principles of architectural design of Bionic Museum and the space design of museum bionic, and focus on the classification and design of the display space. The third part (Chapter V) is the core of this thesis, through the researching and learning about museums, and combines with the design principles, a new bionic museum—XiChong seashell museum is designed with its own characteristics. |
