With the development of economy, there are more and more engineering constructions on soft clay ground, thus the techniques for ground treatment are becoming manifold day by day. During the process of engineering practice, a number of new and practical techniques has been used, among which, the method of vacuum preloading is quite common and new, it has been extensively used in recent years, and obtained both considerable engineering and economic results. However, this method has been still rarely applied and studied on the soft clay ground which is thick and deep, and the designing theory is still far from perfect, therefore, it is necessary to have a study on it combined with engineering practice.This paper summarizes the developing history and the current research condition of vacuum preloading technology, analyze the mechanism reinforcing deep soft foundation. Firstly, design the inspecting blue print of test section. After analyzing the datum of the surface settlement, deep layered settlement, pore water pressure, vacuum degree and other relative field experiment, the rules vacuum degree pass along the depth, and distributing rules of pore pressure, and the developing trend of vertical settlement, and the intensity increasing thing are indicated. And on the basis of consolidation theory, calculation formula about pore water pressure of vacuum combined surcharge preloading.In order to evaluate the consolidation and settlement, labor every forecasting methods in detail. Focus on settlement ration method, three point method, hyperbola method, Asaoca method, exponential method to calculate. Discuss the advantages and applicability after comparison. At last, give the particular analysis if how to evaluate the consolidation effect.At last, analyze the consolidation mechanism about surcharge preloading in details,and the dissipation trend of pore water pressure under surcharge.According to this project,the unloading standard is worked out based of the dataum under surcharge.
