| Power Line communication(PLC), it means using power line as communication media for data transmission and information exchange. With the development of the technologies of modulation, power line communication is developing rapidly in the 21 st century. Because power line communication has several advantages, such as no need of new wire and low cost, it has drawn a lot of attentions in the fields of broadband access.As the characteristic of channel is the basic of PLC research. The characteristic of power line channel is discussed from the transmission lines, noise, and channel attenuation in this paper.The ability of anti jamming, speed and distance of transmission are decided by the mode of modulation. It is the key of the power line correspondence realization. After anglicizing the principle of the spread spectrum carrier communication technique, it decided to adopt the spread spectrum technique to overcome the blemish that resulted in the power line as the transmission medium. The spread spectrum (SS) carrier communication system has stronger ability of resisting jamming, narrow band, and multiparty interference than the conservation communication system. And because of its lower transmitting power spectrum, it also has the characteristics of low probability intercept and multiple access secure communication. And it elaborated the technique of BPSK modulation and LonWorks systematically. Then, a project of power line communication in the short distance of a house is presented.The design of PLC module and the experiments are emphases of this paper. After the theories analysis, it emphasized to study a concrete project for power line carrier communication and designed a set of Point-to-Point experiment. It introduced the RISECOMM's chip RISE3201 and presented the design proposal for the whole system .Then, it also made every functional module actualized part by part, especially the coupling circuit, transmit circuit and receive circuit. At last, it accomplished the whole designing and tested the PLC modem. |
