Evaluation Method Study On The Quality Of Urban Waterfront Landscape

At present, with the continuous improvement of urban living standards, people's increasing demand of living and working environment is also higher and higher, urban waterfront landscape environment has undergone enormous changes. Urban Waterfront is an important resource for development of the city. As the city's charming window, the building of the urban waterfront landscape is a very important role in enhancing the quality of the urban environment and enriching geographical features and so on.People are the essence of landscape, the cause of landscape designers is to let people "poetically inhabit" in the land. The symbol of success of waterfront landscape design is that the people's aspirations and needs can be satisfied in the waterfront landscape environment, the people's way of life encouraged and strengthened, and their values affirmed. The main evaluation is divergent and mixed on that a concourse designed by architect whether meet and support the internal and surface need of people or not, and whether to meet in the value of the degree of judgments or not. For these phenomena, the reason most closely associated with landscape evaluation, one of the main reasons is vague visual content and value orientation understanding, weak concept of subjective assessment and lack of consensus on the assessment of standards. It is regrettable that the investigation very small to assess the quality of waterfront landscape in the country, making the design quality of actual work entirely dependent on the designer's experience and personal likes and dislikes, difficult to upgrade the quality of the waterfront landscape design. Therefore, it is necessary to study the evaluation criteria and methods of the waterfront landscape.Based on the research related domestic evaluation method this paper, attempts to propose a practical approach. First on the city waterfront landscape and visual assessment of the basic theory, demand from the users point of view the evaluation index of the waterfront landscape, and then on the basis of this analysis by constructing level evaluation index system, which will further explore Comprehensive Assessment Act of the quality of urban waterfront landscape. Analysis on the final of the general processes and methods of evaluation, and a part of Wuxi Lihu waterfront park as an example for analysis.
