Study Of Changjiang Delta Urban Landscape's Present Situation And Developing Trend

With the quick development of China's urbanization,especially after the Open Reform, both the urban layout and city dwellers'life style have changed much.Hence, it also has given an impetus to great changes in the area and society, economy and urban space. Therefore,the conterporary urban landscape design specialization came into being and has been developing very rapidly.People have widely launched a movement for urban greening,ecological improvement and making our environment more beautiful to adjust to the new life style.As China's most important financial center and one of the urban circle, the Changjiang Delta, richly endowed by nature, is a land with a wonderful geographical position and a rich technical source. Nowadays, with the rapid development , the local people have designed this area in an all-round way, including the design of the urban square, urban parks, urban pedestrian mall, community area and so on. However, due to lack of theoretical experience, it has mainly followed the design of developed countries, such as European countries as well as the U.S.A. In the study and practice of this field, people now face the process of'learning foreign theory---flourishing---self-criticisming---localization', that is, a process of'learning---developing---thinking---growing'. It's in this process that people constantly perfect the urban landscape design and gradually form their own theory system. This paper is based on the urban landscape design of the Changjiang Delta, analysing and summarizing systematically about the recent principles and practice of the Changjiang Delta's landscape design. In addition, this paper subjects to the history and theory in both China's and other countries'urban landscape design, having explored the development of nearly 30 years of the Changjiang Delta urban landscape design and then proposed a four-stage argument: developing steady and reform-exploring, imitating and thinking, entirety and plurality, internationalize and rapid development.This paper is based on the Changjiang Delta's special background resources of land and economic condition, the local culture and urban circle structure and so on, combing the imporant factors which affect the local social pholosophy, economic development tactics, cityplanning history and garden project. What's more, according to the four main urban landscape project aspects: urban square, urban parks, pedestrian mall and urban community, the paper mainly explores the development process of the urban landscape of this area. The content of the paper mainly lies in summarizing the respective designing concepts, designing tact and elements of scenery based on the result of sorting and analysing data. It then sums up the respective characteristics of development and existing problems before making suggestions. At last, according to the design of the area's urban landscape ,this paper prospects to the design tendancy of the Changjiang Delta. This is not only the analysis and prospection of the Changjiang Delta, but also an example for other places'urban landscape designs.
