At present, the domestic and foreign researches are much about the concrete filled steel tube and cast-in-place hollow flat slab's rigid joint. The design about slab-column's rigid joint is maintaining the concrete filled steel's column to pass through the building to form the whole. It is connected by the flat from the side,mainly depending upon the ring stiffener board or the continual steel bar to transmit the bending moment. And it depends on the corbel, anti-cuts sells and other steel members to carry on the shearing force transmission. Its joint is complex in the structural compatibility. And it will produce imbalanced bending moment and shearing strength when it is endured horizontal load. The joint becomes a weaker link in seismic Engineering.In order to improve the joint's performance, the topic designed a set of swivel joint that concrete filled steel tube run through the beam and column and concrete slabs simply supported on holding-plate. But there is no research about this joint.In order to obtain bolted connection joint, the paper designed a 2050mm×2050mm concrete board which has a round hole of 200mm in diameter. It also designed a 2050mm×2050mm concrete board, a steel tube of 200mm in diameter and a holding-plate of 320mm in diameter to get steel moment connection. After static pressure test, the paper found two important points: First, we can use our country's concrete designed standard (GB50010-2002) 7.7.1-1 to calculate the swivel joint's punching shear capacity accurately. Second, this joint has the same punching shear capacity as rigid joint. So we can use swivel joint to improve joint's seismic performance in seismic engineering.
