Investigation On The Historical Development And Present Spatial Situation Of The Commercial Street-space Of Delorme Road

COTONOU, the economic capital of Benin has passed through two rounds of urban space planning, and because of lack of related city design instructions, its urban space planning has not been ameliorated. This article gives the analysis of the commercial street of DELORME through historical review and space investigation, according to the relevant theory and concepts of the commercial street space. It analyzed Delorme commercial street reconstruction difficulties, and explored its transformation methods in order to provide reference for Benin's commercial streets, transformation and design of Benin's commercial streets.The author mainly begins from the Delorme commercial street spatial situation analysis, from its spatial angle, spatial shape, node, criterion, sequence and space operation and put forward all kind of questions related to Delorme commercial street space, its historical vicissitude, its thorough understanding, cause and effect.
