The power quality monitoring problems have aroused more and more attention of researchers. Needed from the development of new and high technologies especially in information industries, there is an increasingly high demand to the power system in factors of stability, security, economy and reliability. These factors'ensuring will grasp timely, accurate and systematic analyses for the power quality. With the continuous development of Internet technologies and via the long-range real-time monitoring techs, technical staff will be able to monitor the various devices such as to conduct data collection and statistical analysis.B/S model features in (1) economy system R & D, maintenance and upgrading, (2) feasible structure-expansion, and (3) flexible services for information exchange and announce. Combined monitoring system core techs with B/S model, this study constructed one typical B/S model long-range monitoring system named as municipal power quality monitoring station management system. First, the research and development platform and tool for this system building were introduced in brief. Then the novel system'structures (3 modules) and functions (7 terms) were analyzed in detail. At last, this thesis focused on the design and implement of this system software clarifying tech tricks in numbers of 3.Based on Web technology and power quality management, this succeeded work had changed the traditional point-to-point model of power quality monitoring and had implemented long-range, real-time and visual monitoring and analysis. Compared with other known systems, this novel system has the advantages of remote monitoring, maintenance-free of clients, safety, reliable and users-friendly.
