As the development of technology and industry, many industrial power users withhigh degree of automation has higher and higher requirement for power quality, powerquality issue will lead the drop of products quality and even the engineering and productionpause, which can cause expensive loss to the user. As we can see, the power quality isdirectly related to the overall benefits of the national economy. Therefore, both supply sideand the user hope to realize the real-time and accurate monitoring of power quality, findpower quality problems timely and take corresponding measures to improve the powerquality. On the other hand, due to the scale of modern power grid is becoming bigger andthe measurement points are increasing, the concentration monitoring of power quality anddata communication is one of the future trend, it puts forward new requirements on thepower quality monitoring system.After the study of the definition and algorithm of power quality and thecomprehensively analysis of domestic and abroad power quality monitoring products andits development trend, this thesis designs a real-time power quality monitoring systembased on the remote monitoring terminal and the3G wireless network. The system consistsof monitoring terminal, communication network and upper PC monitoring software.Monitoring terminal is located in the monitoring substation, it adopts DSP chipTMS320F28335and ARM chip STM32F103Z as double CPU hardware structure, thedesign utilizes the eminent data processing function of DSP to complete the data processingand calculation, meanwhile utilizes the abundant peripherals and good control performanceof ARM, the high-speed sampling of AD7607ensures the accuracy of measurement data,monitoring terminal provides excellent LCD display and touch screen and voice alarmfunction at the same time. Communication system utilizes telecom3G wireless network,the measurement data of monitoring terminal can be uploaded to the monitoring PC in realtime, this design enlarges the applied range of the monitoring system, which has a goodperformance in real-time and applicability, it also represents the future development trend;this thesis designs the function of upper PC software too, the monitoring software can not only monitor power quality data of multiple monitoring points in real-time, but alsoundertake the corresponding statistics and analysis function, which provides conditions forthe further research of the power quality.Through hardware debugging and software function test, the power quality monitoringsystem has eminent measurement speed and precision. The system has certain advantageson performance and function, which has tremendous application value.
