The TV imaging system is one of the mostly resorts in tracking and measuring the flying targets. It can automatically track and measure the far point target and close quarters big target. The target get across the optical system and imaging to the CCD incept surface, after photoelectricity transform, output the target image on the TV screen finally. At the time of track, it hope that with long focus length and little field for the track distance and precision, but at the time of capture and observe, it hope that with short focus length and big filed. The fixed-focus lens system can not meet the request, and that the discontinuous zoom system is easy to lose the target image at the process of changing focus. So in this paper, a continuous zoom lens is adopted, it preferably accomplish the capture, track, watch and demarcate.Research on optical system of TV seeker in this paper. Firstly, introduce the plane reflector and glass cover's action and design in the optical system, following rehash zoom lens design, analyze the Gaussian optics and discuss the theory of zoom lens design. Then according as the design requests, calculate the parameters of lens, select the original configuration, and work out a 20~200mm zoom lens, study the aberration theory, present the design result. The analysis of the Spot diagram and MTF (modulation transfer function) show that the zoom system can meet the requirement. In the end, research the cam's curve of zoom lens, and present the zoom graph.
