| More and more importance is attached to the operating security and reliability of important equipment to which hydraulic system is applied more and more widely. For the requirement of hydraulic system used in such important equipment, automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is developed in the paper. Purpose of researching the automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is to improve operating security and reliability of the hydraulic system in important equipment. Research and development of automatic fluid flow rate limiting devise is of significant practicalAutomatic fluid flow rate limiting device, integrated with manual manipulation and hydraulic control, is kind of mechanical protective equipment designed specially for high flow rate hydraulic system.Firstly, in the paper, working principle of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is generally analyzed, structure is designed, key parts influencing dynamic performance are confirmed and initial parameters of key parts are obtained by static analysis and calculation based on technical requirements.Secondly, basing on the initial parameters of key parts obtained, mathematical model is built for the process of closing of main spool of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device, time domain simulation model is built in Simulink, dynamic simulations for different input flow rate and different diameters of damps are finished, and key parameters of performance of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device are optimized. 3D model of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is built after dynamic simulation, CFD simulation for the main flow passage of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is carried out in FLUENT, two schemes of main flow passage are compared, structure of main flow passage is optimized and finally the better one is chosen.Finally, prototype of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is manufactured and quantities of experiments are done. The results showed that the fluid flow limiting device is able to work reliably in current system pressure.Prototype of automatic fluid flow rate limiting device is successfully developed in the design for graduation, the analysis for the results of mathematical simulation and CFD simulation provide certain guidance for the design of hydraulic elements of the same kind. |
