The simulation experiment of the operation reliability of automatic mechanism is used in the design phase and the system joint debugging stage under the case of not firing live ammunition, and the automatic mechanism movement is driven by using electromotor for replacing real firing in order to examine the operation reliability of the automatic mechanism of the gas-operated automatic weapons. It has important practical significance for developing the gas-operated automatic weapon. In this paper, a simulation experiment device was designed according to the simulation test requirement, and its feasibility for the simulation test experiment was analyzed. Then the overall scheme of the simulation test device was designed. With the gas-operated automatic weapon as the testing object, the mechanical structure and electrical control unit for the simulation test experiment was designed, and the virtual prototype of the system was built by software SolidWorks. Then the virtual prototype was transferred from software SolidWorks to software ADAMS to build its dynamic model. The dynamics simulation was carried out, and the velocity-time curve of automatic mechanism was obtained, the results showed that it could accelerate the gas-operated automatic mechanism of automatic weapon from 0 to 7-9m/s in 5ms. The electrical system model was established by MATLAB/Simulink, and the co-simulation for the overall model was carried out by combining the electrical system and mechanical system dynamics model. The simulation results showed that system output could achieve good tracking for input, and demonstrated the model validity, further proved the principle feasibility and the design rationality of the simulation experiment. It can be used as the simulation test experiment device for gas-operated automatic mechanism of automatic weapon instead of real firing test. The study results of this paper supply theoretical foundation for further researches of the simulation device, and it has important theoretical significance and engineering value in practice.
